Tsubaki's Poly-Steel chain is a hybrid product comprising polyacetal
inner links, joined by type 304 stainless steel outer links and pins. The
combination offers strength with lightness of weight, and a chain that
requires no lubrication for applications such as product conveying
Transmission noise is also substantially reduced, thanks to the
polyacetal links, and Poly-Steel chain is less prone to elongation.
Available through Wyko's nationwide branches, this Tsubaki product is
available with a choice of engineering plastics for the bushing links,
providing electrically conducting and corrosion resistant properties.
Corrosion resistance can be further enhanced with pin and pin plates made
from type 316 stainless steel or optional titanium alloy. The chains will
run on standard sprockets at speeds of up to 70m/min and at temperatures
from -25°C to +80°C.
