All-inclusive industrial safety technology from Panasonic

To ease customers' transition to the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and to help them make sure they abide by the new Machine Directive, Panasonic decided on a concept that included everything from safety sensors through programmable controllers to servo drives. All safety products marketed by Panasonic comply with EN 62061, which is part of the new Directive.

Panasonic's safety PLCs can control up to five5 safety-related functions. By connecting the safety PLCs to the company's standard controllers, data for safety-related functions, such as error messages, can be displayed on Panasonic human machine interfaces or be used for other processes. The sensors feature integrated muting functions, blanking and an IP67 protection class.
