What’s new in Mathcad Prime?

Much more flexible handling of units – with dynamic, not static, unit checking, units accepted in most Mathcad functions and the ability to include mixed units in matrices and plots – is one of the new features in Mathcad Prime that Mathcad users have applauded. Other new features include better, smoother interfacing with Excel spreadsheets, flexible documents with regions snapping to the grid and WYSIWYG editing of headers and footers.

Mathcad Prime will run alongside your existing Mathcad installation (and Mathcad 15 ships with Mathcad Prime 1.0 at no extra cost) so you can gradually explore the new version, perhaps transfer some of your projects over to see how they run, without affecting your productivity - you can carry on working in the familiar environment while you learn how to become adept with Mathcad Prime.
