About turn on a small footprint
Wirebelt has added a small footprint, solid-top conveying system to its
Flex-Turn range, which is capable of turning product between 45o and 180o
without slippage and tracking problems, thanks to the positive drive
system. The 400 series has a 400mm nominal inside radius and comes in six
belt widths between 254mm and 1,270mm. The system is also available with
a small constant radius 'bull nose' transfer in place of the standard
transfer rollers. All Flex-Turn units feature small parallel end-rollers,
which minimise the transfer difficulties normally associated with turn
conveyors equipped with larger tapered end-rollers.
