William Hughes has been appointed exclusive UK distributor for
Garphyttan's Garba 177 PH stainless spring wire, which exhibits higher
fatigue strength than ordinary 18/8 (302) steel after precipitation
hardening and offers elasticity comparable to high grade music wire. A
high level of corrosion resistance and a maximum working temperature of
300( combine with good dimensional stability after spring coiling to
produce a versatile, dependable wire with good spring characteristics.
The wire is supplied on carriers, spools and reels, or alternatively in
coils or cut lengths.
