Ps Has Over-Temperature Protection

Shown for the first time at Drives & Controls last month, the new Wipos 50-480W switch-mode power supply from Wieland features 'temperature prompted power limitation', which automatically reduces power output at potentially damaging ambient temperature levels. In the event of a power load exceeding the upper temperature limit, the device switches off and enters a 'hiccup' mode - a periodic monitoring of the output that continues until the load is back within range, whereupon the power supply is restored. Wipos power supplies can be connected in parallel to increase power output, or used with de-coupling diodes to provide dual redundancy. Efficiency is around 90% and the 480W unit takes just 68mm of rail mounting space. Enter 255
