More PC communications cards from Brainboxes

Brainboxes has expanded its uPCI range with three new products that add four RS232 ports with an LPT port to PCI based computers. The cards are UC-263 (illustrated), UC-295 and UC-414. The low-profile UC-263 occupies one PCI slot and provides four RS232 ports on the bracket via a high density connector. The one metre long spider cable brings these out as four industry standard nine-pin male RS232 ports, while a fly lead makes the LPT port accessible via a standard 25-pin female D connector.

The UC-295 is a standard height version of the low profile UC-263 but otherwise identical. The UC-414 is a standard height PCI card occupying one PCI slot providing three industry standard nine-pin D RS232 ports on the bracket with a further nine-pin D RS232 port and 25-pin D LPT port on a fly lead.

These products have LPT printer port connectivity providing fully bi-directional standard printer ports, allowing complete backwards compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. They also come with Brainboxes' customer support package, including lifetime warranty & support.
