Wds Customises 3D Cad Library Disks

Machine accessory supplier, WDS is trying to make life easier for machine builders by producing customised 3D CAD library disks that have file types matched to the CAD platforms of its individual customers. The new library disks follow on from WDS' 'Cadalog', which until now contained only 2D DXF files. The file types now available include IGES, VRML, ProEngineer, STEP, STL (ASCII or binary), DWG/DXF, Catia SAT(ACIS), Parasolid, Solidworks and eDrawings. Some 6,000 items are now available in the customised CD format, including toggle clamps and stainless steel parts.
