High-strength polymer hybrid adhesive and sealant features novel adhesion promoter

Clear-Fix from Eurobond Adhesives is a clear, high-strength polymer hybrid adhesive and sealant with all the high bond strength and chemical resistance of a polyurethane, plus the sealing properties of a silicone. The product offers excellent adhesion to a range of substrates, whilst providing toughened flexibility throughout the bondline. Clear-Fix also features a novel adhesion promoter, which enables the user to apply it to damp surfaces.

Clear-Fix is very versatile and can bond a wide range of substrates without the need for surface primers or conditioners. Typical applications include.

Bonding plastics, metals and modern composites.
Bonding joint assemblies in automotive bodywork.
Bonding skirts and spoilers in the automotive aftermarket.
Bonding carbon fibre panels.
Sealing and weatherproofing joints.
Bonding glass to metal and wood in furniture manufacture.

Clear-Fix will not shrink on curing, will tolerate -55°C to +100°C has an open time of around 10 minutes and will gain a very fast initial grab and through cure in approximately 24 hours.
