New from Softstart UK is a range of vacuum circuit breakers offering high performance, simple maintenance and an extended life of up to 30,000 operations. The highly compact Hyundai HAF and HVF vacuum circuit breakers deliver the additional benefit of low vibration, quiet operation. Because of the small amount of contact erosion, contact life is increased to 20,000 operations at the rated nominal current.

The enclosed HVF circuit breakers are rated for voltages from 4.76kV up to 40.5kV, with withstand voltages up to 190kV and rated currents up to 4000A. The open frame HAF circuit breakers are rated for voltages from 4.76kV up to 24kV, with withstand voltages to 125kV and rated currents up to 3,150A.
