New from Variohm Eurosensor, the PSF117 pressure switch operates over the
0.1 to 5.0in WG range and comes complete with a variety of options,
including multi-barbed ports, bleed holes and mounting configurations.
Aimed mainly at HVAC applications, the device can be used to monitor
pressure, differential pressure and vacuum. Its piggy-back design allows
the user to specify the type of snap-action switch required. For example,
gold contacts can be chosen for low-energy electronic circuits, whereas
silver alloy contacts can be specified if higher currents need to be
switched.
Variohm will be showing examples from its extensive range of sensors at
Mtec next month. These include position sensors (rotary and linear, Hall
effect, laser-based), incremental and absolute encoders, weighing and
force measurement devices with capacities up to 1,000 tonnes, pressure
sensors, thermistors and probes.
