Variohm's new model 1900 torque development kit enables machine builders
to assess the viability or reliability of integrating torque measurement
into their products and systems. The kit comprises a torque transducer
and printed circuit board, the former having a stainless steel
through-shaft with a hexagon drive at each end. If tests show a
particular application to be viable, the components can be packaged as a
single unit, combining both mechanical and electrical parts. Four torque
capacities are offered, ranging from 50lb.in to 1,000lb.in, at a maximum
speed of 5,000rpm.
