The new Schrack RT-i power relay from Tyco Electronics is suitable for
switching both fluorescent and incandescent luminaires. It has a rated
carry current of 16A and is capable of withstanding an inrush current of
800A for 200us (fluorescent), or 165A for 20ms (incandescent). Key design
features include a single normally-open contact with tungsten pre-mate
and silver tin oxide carry contacts, reinforced insulation, 5kV
dielectric strength and an ambient operating temperature of 85°C.
