Tyco Electronics' new PTF two-pole, 15A relay features cadmium-free
silver nickel contacts, in line with the requirements of the RoHS
(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive scheduled to come into
force in 2006. The PCB- or flange-mounting relay is available with dc or
ac coils and is just 29mm high. Contacts are rated 10A/250Vac or
15A/120Vac (maximum switching voltage of 440Vac), and the minimum contact
load is 5Vdc/100mA. Nominal coil voltages range from 6-220Vdc and
6-230Vac.
