New from Astrosyn is a range of rugged permanent magnet dc motors that is
capable of being submersed. The AP series motor can operate at speeds as
low as 180rpm without the need for a gearbox, thus saving space and
reducing noise. Available from 180W to 3kW (3,000rpm), and in
customisable enclosures with ratings from IP40 to IP68, AP motors have
diameters of 120 or 140mm.
