Abssac has launched a new line of business in power screws, offering a
wide range of machine-cut and whirled acme screw formats that will be of
interest to manufacturers of screw jacks and other high power linear
drive products. Screw diameters are from 10mm to 70mm (standard), though
diameters up to 200mm can be supplied. Standard lengths are available up
to 3,000mm, in aluminium, carbon and stainless steels, while the
trapezoidal thread forms can be supplied in both right and left hand
formats.
Complementing the screws is a standard range of bronze or steel nuts,
which can be adapted for special requirements where the fit tolerances
between nut and screw can be guaranteed. Abssac also offers an end
machining service to match the power screw as closely as possible to the
customer's application.
