Turck Banner’s Q10S inductive sensor comes in a micro-switch style
housing that is suitable for valve position control and other proximity
switching applications. Unlike a limit switch, though, the Q10S has no
contacts and its closed loop operation enables open or closed circuits to
be monitored with ease. The IP68 protected sensor is available in dc, ac
mains and Namur versions, all in the same compact housing. The body of
the unit has a cut-away section offering greater flexibility of cable
connection, while a corner-mounted LED (suitable for use in hazardous
areas) makes commissioning and maintenance that much easier.
