TM Robotics has introduced the Toshiba Machine Scara TH-650 robot, which
is claimed to be at least 1.4 times faster than previous models on every
axis, and 1.72 times faster across the four axes on average. The robot
has the same footprint as its predecessor, but its working envelope is
substantially increased, with axes 1 and 2 combining to provide a
near-360 degree working area. The cabling system is now internally
configured, allowing a reduction in the height requirement and a big
reduction in wear and tear.
