ASF Thomas says its 500 and 2520 series compressors can cope reliably
with the exceptionally high vapour pressure of the recently introduced
R-410A refrigerant. Both ranges are custom designed for refrigerant
recovery applications and feature lightweight aluminium construction plus
oil-less, dry-lubricated operation. The compressors are suitable for use
in both vapour and liquid recovery systems, thanks to their liquid
compatible head/valve system. Vapour recovery rates range from 3-5lb/min
for the 500 and 5-15lb/min for the 2520. Liquid recovery rates are
0.3-0.5 and 0.5-1.0lb/min respectively.
