Most inverter drives offer a surplus of costly features that are largely
redundant when it comes to implementing simple applications such as low
power pump and fan control. DeltaSense has acknowledged this fact with
the launch of its novel FC750 IP54 drive for 0.75kW motors that dispenses
with many of these unnecessary 'frills'. Most notably, there are no
set-up parameters - the unit is 100% pre-programmed, with acceleration,
deceleration and current limit protect all preset. The unit features
integral EMC filter, galvanic isolation to 73/23/EEC standard, and
passive cooling. An IP68 version is imminent, which will allow
installation close to production areas subject to frequent wash down.
