Coated aluminium is impact and corrosion resistant
New AL and AL-R series enclosures from Spelsberg are constructed from
high grade cast aluminium and afford a high degree of impact resistance.
The exterior of each enclosure is protected by a silver-grey powder
coating, which combines a pleasing appearance with full corrosion
protection. When secured, the cover plates compress a foam seal formed in
a recess channel to achieve IP65 protection. Two hinge options are
offered: external cast aluminium, swivelling through 150 degrees, and
internal stainless steel, swivelling through 95 degrees. Sixteen models
are available in these series, with other sizes on request. Accessories
include entry spouts, cable glands, twist nipples, lock-nuts, conduit
adapters, speciality nipples, mounting plates and terminals.
