Junction Boxes Offer Fastener-Free Cable Retention

The new Q4 and Q12 series junction boxes from Spelsberg have 'push-lock' cable entries that allow the cable-end to be pushed through a moulded slit in the enclosure wall, displacing the knockout and gripping the outer insulation without the need for tools and fasteners. Both models provide two standard lugs for screws, plus three knockouts in the base for installation on flat surfaces. The Q4 has capacity for four 3x1.5mm2 to 2.5mm2 strand NYM cables and has a handy push-to-release hinged lid. Offering access for up to twelve 3x1.5mm2 to 2.5mm2 strand NYM cables, the larger Q12 features Spelsberg's 'Klickt' click-top lid system, which comprises additional ridges set into the box edge and adjoining lid surfaces for a more positive, secure location with the need for tools.
