A series of compact, surface-mounting draw latches in a variety of
materials and finishes and featuring sleek lines and optional locks, is
now available from Southco. These fixed-grip, over-centre cast draw
latches automatically align the panels to which they are fitted, drawing
them together on the same plane. They achieve a positive latch engagement
that prevents accidental opening even under stress or vibration, while
their secure design is further enhanced by integral key locks, which are
available as an option. When installed, the latches are just 22mm proud
of the outer panel surface and there is no exposed hardware on its inside
surface.
