Premo has added the HCT-1000-SH series to its current sensor range. This closed loop Hall effect device is capable of measuring up to 1,000A dc, ac or pulse, with high accuracy and linearity (as good as as 0.1% in both cases). The current sensor also has an overload capability of up to ±3,000A. The plastic housed HCT-1000-SH is fully isolated to better than than 4,000Vac and operates from either a ±15Vdc or ±24Vdc source.
