Re-engineered shot-bolt from Magnet Schultz offers more powerful actuation

A re-engineered, MkII version of the Magnet Schultz Type 63 shotbolt delivers new features, including IP65 weatherproofing, CE conformity, and the integration of electronic over-voltage control to offer more powerful actuation.

The enhanced shotbolt has a robust steel frame and brushed aluminium casing, and deploys a 15mm diameter stainless steel bolt with an integral lip seal for IP65 compliance. It is available in fail-safe (energise-to-lock) or fail-secure (spring-to-lock) configuration, and is operable from either a dc or ac supply.

With its ISO 9001 manufacture and life-tested rating to over one million operations, the Type 63 shotbolt is suitable for a variety of industrial and security applications, including access doors, security vehicles, shutter grilles and gates, lift mechanisms, industrial interlocking and machinery guards.
