Reflection and light loss require more consideration with touch screens
than with conventional displays. The hard coat overlay must be optically
perfect and possess anti-glare or anti-reflective characteristics to
provide high levels of legibility, particularly where the data on the
screen is constantly changing. Custom designed and controlled surface
textures, such as Autotype Autoflex anti-glare hard coat polyester
minimises reflection, while the hard coat provides a high degree of
scratch resistance. Flexibility is maintained to withstand actuations of
a single key measured in millions.
