The N2 compression latch from Southco is now available in a medium size to complement the existing standard size latch. The heavy-duty, lift-and-turn N2 is ruggedly constructed and offers simple mechanical action and consistent pull-up compression for snug closure.
Suitable for heavy-duty applications in off-highway and industrial equipment, N2 latches resist stress, shock and vibration commonly encountered with engine covers, storage compartments and access panels. The easy-to-grip T-handle provides an ample handhold and folds down for minimal protrusion.
With both locking and non-locking models available (with or without a recessed cup) both the medium and standard size N2 latches have several cam options that offer adjustable grip dimensions. The N2 is easily retrofitted thanks to the common panel preparation requirements.
