The new ETP-Classic R series stainless steel bushes from Simplatroll
allow straightforward connection of hubs, gears, sprockets and pulleys to
shafts without the need for keyways. Targeted at applications in the food
industry, the series is available in six sizes, covering shaft diameters
from 15 to 50mm. The bush connects between shaft and hub by evenly
applied compression force when axially located screws are tightened.
Depending on the bush size, between four and ten screws need to be
tightened in this way. The bush releases its grip on the shaft when the
screws are loosened.
