Measurement Computing Corporation’s low-cost temperature logger USB-501-LT has been added to Adept Scientific’s data acquisition product range. The unit measures and stores up to 4,080 temperature readings over the -10 to +50 °C (+14 to 122 °F) measurement range with 15min, 30min, 1h, and 2h sampling intervals and a battery life of one month (continuous use). When the button is pressed, a red/green LED indicates whether or not a preset alarm level has been breached. The user can easily configure the data logger, and download the stored data by plugging the module straight into the USB port of a PC running the purpose-designed software under Windows 2000 or XP. The data can then be graphed, printed and exported to other applications.
