Sensortechnics' new FSS silicon based, miniature force sensors have a
force range from 0 to 1,500g, and will tolerate overloads up to 4,500g.
The units are presented in miniature SMT housings measuring just 9x4x3mm,
and are suitable for ultra-low displacement sensing in robotic
end-effectors - pinch force control, for example, and high-precision
force sensing in instruments and production machinery.
