IMO claims success for 'Drives Scrappage' scheme

The recent Drives Scrappage initiative from IMO Precision Controls has attracted new business from North America and Asia, while strengthening its export sales to mainland Europe and generating a high level of interest from its established UK base. Interest in the whole range, from the micro inverter CUB, through to the more powerful VXR and VXG drives comes from a variety of applications from small to medium conveyor systems through to large cranes and hoists. Customers are recognising the additional benefits of adopting the latest technology, including the opportunity to reduce emissions and increase overall efficiency, which means they will enjoy the energy saving payback within 12-18 months.
