The LT47 and LR97D over-current protection relays from Telemecanique are designed to work in conjunction with motor starters. The LR97D fits beneath the base of Telemecanique's TeSys model D motor starter, while the LT47 mounts separately but can be used with third party motor starter products. Both relays take into account rapid variations in load, and have two independent timers that provide protection during starting and during steady-state operation. The can be used with single or three-phase motors and are available with manual and/or automatic reset.
