Programmable relays pack a lot into a small package
Telemecanique’s new Zelio relay can be programmed using familiar ladder
logic, to store a program of 60 lines, each line consisting of three
contacts and a coil, or three contact and a function block. All functions
are accessible directly from the relay’s pushbutton pad, and the details
of the program are displayed via an integral LCD. A Windows based
software package is also provided, should the user wish to programme and
debug on a PC.
Relays are available for 24V dc or 100/240V ac 50/60Hz operation and
feature six digital inputs plus four relay outputs, or 12 digital inputs
plus eight relay outputs. While internal real time clocks are optional
across the range, all models have eight timers, eight four-digit up/down
counters and fifteen internal relays. Additionally, units with analogue
inputs provide eight comparator functions, while models with real time
clocks allow four separate time-activated functions.
