Schaffner's EMC and calibration services now include full-load testing of
power drive systems with outputs up to 90kW, enabling manufacturers and
system builders to meet the EN 61800-3 EMC product standard for variable
speed electric drives. By simulating all aspects of field conditions,
including the wiring and filtering of motor and control cables, this
full-load test overcomes the limitations of standard laboratory tests
that do not necessarily prove compliance when the system is finally
installed.
