Several new EMC filters have been introduced by Schaffner to meet the
forthcoming EN50370 standard for machine tools, which comes into effect
in July 2004. From that date, suppliers of complete machine tool systems
will bear responsibility for all EMC compliance issues. Five families of
filters are offered, covering components such as regenerative drives and
control units.
