The new SV Series valve manifolds from SMC Pneumatics dispense with loose
interconnecting leads, thanks to a multi-pin connector built into every
valve block. The connectors are wired so that the manifold blocks are
sequentially assigned pins on the connector, allowing blocks to be
replaced wherever they are on the manifold simply by sliding the
neighbouring blocks aside and unhitching it from the DIN rail. The
replacement unit is then clipped to the rail and the manifold
reconnected. Manifolds are available with IP65 and IP67 protection and
can be supplied with gateways for serial linking of multiple manifolds.
SV valves have been life tested to 50 million cycles.
