Low-Friction Cylinder Offers Sensitive Control

SMC's new MQQ series low-friction cylinders have typical applications in semiconductor wafer polishing, coil winding and cutting operations requiring constant force. Two models are currently available. The MQQT has maximum and minimum operating pressures of 0.5Mpa and 0.005Mpa, and speeds from 0.3 to 300mm/s; while the MQQL features an integral ball bearing, which increases resistance to lateral loads, to provide tension control under conditions of very low pressure with very small pressure variations.
