New high-purity Fluororesin fittings from SMC Pneumatics eliminate
particle generation and total organic carbon, so they can be used with
confidence in demanding, controlled clean environments. The LQ series
fittings are compatible with a range of chemicals, including acids and
ultra-pure water, and will tolerate fluids at temperatures as high as
200°C. The quadruple seal construction provides high conductivity and
minimal dead space for impurities and contaminants to gather. tube
diameters are easily changed to meet new flow/fluid requirements, the
face seal design allowing for quick change of tubing and/or tube
diameters using the same fitting body.
