Rolec's aluCASE range of IP66 die-cast aluminium enclosures are claimed to solve many of the problems presented by standard off-the-shelf products. For example, when fitting membrane keypads or control panels, you don't have to crop around the case fixings; a recessed area is already provided in the top of the aluCASE.Unsightly hinges and visible screws are now a thing of the past, as the modern integrated hinge design has no visible fixings. Clip-in trims - in plastic or aluminium - are also supplied to hide the case and wall fixings. A special key lock incorporated in the hinge assembly itself, is available as an option. Other options include EMC and IP67 gaskets and gortex condensation glands.Rolec offers a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, assembly of cable glands and terminals, providing a fully finished housing ready for the fitting of components.
