Rockwell's new Allen-Bradley 1606XLS DIN rail mounting power supply is some 50% smaller than the 1606XL, yet it offers improved peak power capacity and cooler running, thanks to its 92% operational efficiency. Two versions provide 120W (5A) and 240W (10A) ratings and both are capable of delivering up to 150% of their continuous rated currents for up to 5 seconds. They take up just 40mm and 60mm of DIN rail length respectively.
