Motion system sizing and selection software
Rockwell Automation has launched the latest version of its motion system
sizing and selection software, Motion Book 3.1, which is available free
on request. Enhancements include 'chain-and-sprocket' and
'rack-and-pinion' mechanical models, and broader product scope covering
the latest families of Allen-Bradley motors. This multi-media package
includes powerful computer modelling and system simulation tools to guide
designers through the sizing process: Quick Size, providing step-by-step
application definition plus a library of templates, and Motion Analyser,
which has machine-specific wizards and tools such as ratio and tolerance
analysis.
