Schroff has been appointed as the UK technical representative for McLean Cooling Technology, the Minnesota-based manufacturer of products designed for cooling electronic systems.
The move will enable Schroff to build on its expertise in thermal management by offering customers McLean’s comprehensive line-up of indoor and outdoor air conditioners, heat exchangers and fans. Both companies are part of the Pentair Technical Products Group.
Schroff is expecting particularly strong UK interest in the McLean family of air conditioners, which offer cooling capacities up to 5860W and are renowned for their high quality, reliability and efficiency. All units are CE marked, use a CFC-free or environmentally safe refrigerant and carry both IP54/55 and UL Type 12/3R/4 ratings.
Typically mounted on the outside of 19in. cabinets or machine housings, the air conditioners are suitable for applications as diverse as industrial control, traffic monitoring, security imaging systems, telecommunications equipment and satellite control systems.
All McLean products are now available from Schroff UK in a wide variety of standard configurations, and a service and repair network is already in place to provide support for UK customers.
