Rockwell Automation claims its new MP Series servomotor offers 40% more
torque per unit size than conventional units, thanks to the use of
lightweight neodymium magnets and a segmented core construction that
allows more torque producing windings to be concentrated in a small
space. Delivering up to 163Nm of continuous torque (278Nm peak), MP
servomotors also feature high torque-to-inertia ratio, IP66 protection
and high resolution, absolute encoders.
