New couplings for generator and diesel-driven applications
Renold Hi-Tec Couplings has introduced the DCB-GS rubber-in-compression
coupling for general diesel drive and generator applications. Featuring
zero backlash and low maintenance requirements, the unit is able to
control resonant torsional vibration and thus minimise vibratory loads in
the drive line. Under test, the DCB-GS withstood 20,000 full torque
reversals without evidence of damage.
