A new addition to the Klik-Top range of polymer block chain from Renold
features a synthetic clip with smooth, rounded edges that avoid sharp
corners coming into contact with conveyed goods. Unlike integral
attachments that require some dismantling of the chain, the new U-type
attachments are installed with a simple 'click-on' action. In addition to
Renold precision roller chain, the clips can also be used on plated,
coated or stainless steel roller chains, where corrosion resistance is
important, or with Renold Syno maintenance-free chain, where lubrication
is undesirable or impractical.
Renold has upgraded its A&S brand of roller chain, improving the
product's wear and fatigue resistance and its all-round durability. New
features include solid, extruded bushes and rollers rather than the
curled bushes often found in other chains. It comes with a full range of
M, K and extended bearing pin attachments.
