Introducing The World S First Truly Maintenance-Free Chain .

Introducing the world's first 'truly' maintenance-free chain Renold's new Syno II chain is claimed not to require any re-lubrication during its entire working life, thanks to the latest techniques in controlled flow lubrication and anti-corrosion coating technology. A development of the company's existing Syno product and claimed by its manufacturer to be the world's first truly maintenance-free chain, Syno II is completely dry to the touch, making it easier and cleaner to handle. A key element of the design is an 'intelligent' bush that releases just the right amount of lubricant to ensure smooth running - there is no risk of over-lubrication, so Syno II can be used in industries where contamination by lubricants is unacceptable. Moreover, the special black coating that is applied to the rollers is approved for use in food processing environments, while the other parts of the chain are electroless nickel-plated and therefore highly resistant to flaking, chipping and peeling. The product is interchangeable, size for size, with standard chain, and it will run on standard sprockets, even in duplex or triplex configurations.
