For easier maintenance, polymer blocks are simply 'clicked' on and off
roller chain thanks to the new Klik-Top option from Renold's A&S chain
brand. The blocks can be removed and replaced without having to remove
the chain or any other part in the transmission system.
On standard polymer block chain, removal normally involves chain removal,
grinding the heads of the bearing pins, dismantling the damaged parts,
fitting the new part and then reinstalling the chain. Klik-Top avoids all
this, enabling repairs to be carried out in seconds rather than hours.
