Renold has introduced a chain range called Stanza, which is aimed
exclusively at the forklift truck market. Just three sizes of Stanza
replace the 26 or so existing forklift truck chain sizes, and each Stanza
size has just four plates. As the chain has been optimised for use on
forklifts, it may be possible to specify a narrower size of Renold Stanza
than the equivalent traditional chain, improving visibility for the
operator. Fewer chain sizes also mean easier standardisation and reduced
inventories for manufacturers.
