Renold Clutches and Couplings has introduced two new coupling ranges, the
SCPF and SCGF, which enable a sprag clutch to be installed between two
in-line shafts. Misalignment normally rules out the use of sprag clutches
in this type of arrangement, but the problem is minimised in the new
products by integrating a flexible coupling into the clutch assembly.
