New brochure describes positioning racks and pinions
Reliance Gear Company has published a new brochure describing its
precision ground helicoidal tooth form, which is now available on
hardened round bearing shafts and type 316 stainless steel tube. These
rack and tube rack systems are available in diameters from 6 to 20mm and
6 to 10mm respectively, in lengths up to 500mm. The total cumulative
pitch error is just 0.025mm over the full 500mm length. Reliance has also
added PEEK polymer pinions to support the tubular rack range.
